If you missed any of the games, there are more chances this coming weekend with the Senior teams! Come on out and cheer on our teams this weekend... you won't be disappointed!

  • SENIOR Teams = Ross Shep (Edm)
  • JUNIOR Teams = HTA (Okotooks)

JV Girls

JV Girls basketball defeated Notre Dame and Bishop Grandin to earn 3rd place at the St. Francis Tournament this past weekend. Liliana G was selected tournament MVP.

The girls play this Thursday (6:15P), Friday (5:45P or 9:PM), and Saturday (???) at SAIT.

SR Girls

Girls played amazing taking 3rd place.  We were down by 40 to Jasper Place but with a “No Quit” attitude battled back within 3 but sadly fell short by 8.  Great weekend, great kids!  Brooklyn B was our tournament MVP. Read more online

JV Boys

The JV Boys opened up their 2018 season in Calgary at the Ernest Manning Tournament against the home team.  It was a close game throughout, but the Falcons fell 67-61.

Their 2nd game of the tournament was against William Aberhart High School.  The team was asleep during the first quarter and dug themselves a 20-point hole. In the second half, we turned it around by playing some great team defense and getting hot behind the arc. In the end, we won 78-74. This put us against Magrath in the consolation final. The goal was to wear Magrath down by constant pressure on both ends of the floor. It was tied going into the 4th, but in the end we soared to a 91-70 win with some great shooting from Jamison S (26 points) and Hawk E (13 points and 11 rebounds). Hawk was also named a tournament All-Star with his tremendous defence, rebounding, and scoring.

SR Boys

The Sr Boys played hard in last weekend's District 4 Invitational Tournament (Calgary). After conquering some nervous first game jitters, we made lots of mistakes and lost a nail biter to Churchill 61-59. The boys worked well and improved as the game went on.

In the second game of the tournament the team played against Chestermere. The team got off to a slow start having only a 2-hour break from their previous game. The team was able to take a small lead into half-time. The team pushed the lead to nearly twenty in the second half. Chestermere closed the gap slightly as the team finished with a 66-59 victory :)

Saturday morning the team tipped off against E P Scarlett. The boys had a great first half and built a 55-22 point lead. The younger guys got a ton of minutes as we coasted to a 90-70 win.

In the consolation championship game, the boys got off bit of a slow start against the LCI Rams.  The boys play really tough against a good LCI team and fought back to take a lead into half time. The second half saw a back and forth game. Unfortunately, we missed too many open looks down the stretch and lost a heartbreaker by one point (83-84).
